The cake was very moist, tasty, and not too heavy. For dessert, we shared the chocolate cake, which came with a large portion of cream, chocolate sauce, and coffee ice cream. I had the paprika-coated salmon w/ warm cabbage and chorizo. She thought it was one of the best dishes (vegetarian or not) that she had ever eaten. As a main entrée, my wife had the vegetarian Hen of the Woods dish w/ a large mushroom, potato-eggplant puree, ricotta dumplings, broccolini, and mushroom broth. Both were excellent, but the cauliflower was to die for. We shared two appetizers: the crab cakes and the Korean cauliflower. After the beer, I ordered the Pecchinino “San Luigi” Italian red wine, which was excellent – light and fruity. I had the ROHA Hazy IPA (from SLC) beer, which was ok but with limited flavor. My wife had the Selby Chardonnay (an oaky CA wine)), which was good. It felt like we could have been in New Hampshire. We sat inside at a corner 4-topper with a view of the waterfall across the street. The restaurant is in the National Forest right off of Mill Creek Canyon Rd and enjoys a beautiful setting.
